This series of dog paintings was inspired by my 13 year relationship with my Black Labrador Service Dog Tyler. 

Many people shared their memories and photos of their dogs to create the paintings below. I have tried to include links and info to credit the photographs/photographers that inspired the pieces. If you shared a photo and have a new web-link please email me.

It is stories of amazing dogs and the love we have for them that inspires these paintings. These days as a stay at home mom with 2 busy kids I find much inspiration through your photographs and emails. I am grateful for all the wonderful people who have generously shared their dogs as models and sent me their family snapshots. I enjoy seeing your photos and hearing the stories about each special dog (even if I don't always get back to you) and I never know what will inspire the next painting. I keep all the photos people have emailed in a special file and when I feel inspired to do a painting I look through it and choose one.
